GRADING – SATURDAY 19TH FEBRUARY 2022

Hello everyone,

We are holding our grading/tryouts on Saturday 19th February 2022 at Croydon Hills Primary School on the netball Courts.

The schedule is as follows

Under 11 – 9am

Under 13 – 10am

Under 15 – 11am

Please ensure the players attend wearing appropriate training clothing and runners, sunscreen applied if required and a water bottle.

We urge everyone to keep vigilant and apply the familiar health and hygiene practices, sanitise your hands and maintain 1.5 metre physical distance. If you have any COVID symptoms, please do not attend netball.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and are excited about the upcoming Winter Season.😃🏐

Venue Updates 2022

More covers! Development continues at Pinks. This year covers will be added to three more courts improving our ability to cope with those rainy winter days.

Work on this will go on until around mid-year and so for the first part of the season Pinks will have many less operational courts; just two in fact. As a result, changes will need to be made regarding timing and venues for both Saturday games and mid-week training.

Plans are still under development and more details will become available when LYVNA finalises those plans. All of the following is to be confirmed, but the current proposal is as follows:

• 9U games will be played on Friday afternoons at Montrose Recreation Reserve (2 courts) and Morrison Reserve, Mt Evelyn (4 courts)

• 11U to Open will be played on Saturdays across four venues: Pinks (2 courts), Montrose (2 courts), Morrison Reserve (4 courts) and Yarra Hills Secondary College, Mt Evelyn (1 indoor court).

Unfortunately this will be a bit disruptive, particularly for families with multiple players in different age groups but at least we will be able to get back on the courts!

We’ll provide more updates when information becomes available.
