More covers! Development continues at Pinks. This year covers will be added to three more courts improving our ability to cope with those rainy winter days.
Work on this will go on until around mid-year and so for the first part of the season Pinks will have many less operational courts; just two in fact. As a result, changes will need to be made regarding timing and venues for both Saturday games and mid-week training.
Plans are still under development and more details will become available when LYVNA finalises those plans. All of the following is to be confirmed, but the current proposal is as follows:
9U games will be played on Friday afternoons at Montrose Recreation Reserve (2 courts) and Morrison Reserve, Mt Evelyn (4 courts)
11U to Open will be played on Saturdays across four venues: Pinks (2 courts), Montrose (2 courts), Morrison Reserve (4 courts) and Yarra Hills Secondary College, Mt Evelyn (1 indoor court).
Unfortunately this will be a bit disruptive, particularly for families with multiple players in different age groups but at least we will be able to get back on the courts!
